Support the Corporate Voice Services manager ensuring Projects and contracts are realistic and achievable in delivery from a cost, quality, and time standpoint. Generate project plan including resource plan and prepare the business case for internal projects.
Manage the delivery phase according to the agreed project plan and per the defined methodology to reduce overall risks and issues and maximize productivity. Regularly track progress in activity and deliverables completion, and quality levels reached against the plans and take actions to recover any discrepancies.
Manage the project under the agreed plan and scope. Validate all scope changes as required and obtain appropriate customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance standards. Update project plan as needed and manage scope changes to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Manage 3rd party suppliers, both internal and external, in order to secure the delivery targets.
Manage the customer to ensure the customer fulfils their obligations.
You should have:
Formal project management training and certification. Prince or PMP certification desirable.
Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Technologies, Telecommunications
Professional certifications in the area of voice / conference / collaboration specific will be an advantage.
5 years or more experience in Project Management having managed with a proven Project Management methodology one or more medium/large sized critical projects with full budget control in a commercial environment.
5 years or more experience working in a primarily IPT voice and related technology environment.
Technically skilled in IPT Voice and Video technologies and unified communications (Experience with Cisco and Avaya Products).
Financial skills and commercial awareness: Appreciation of all commercial and business elements of IT and ability to manage financial aspects of the solution design.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite. Other languages an asset.
Very strong interpersonal skills.
