Software Application Support with French

Our client is one of the largest IT company in the world. Their services include business and technologies consulting, IT services and business process outsourcing. Currently they are looking for candidates for Software Application Support positions for their international project.
In this job you will provide application support for non-standard software applications. You will communicate on daily basis with end users in the respective country to clarify problems with applications and resolve them. By your job you will diagnose the issue and escalate to programmers in case of complex application problems. You need to facilitate communication between programmers and end users. You will also provide translation from local language to English for internal purpose only. In your job you can maintain technical knowledge databases and “How to” queries. You need to do reporting on local country data on Incidents, Problems, Service requests etc.
To become the ideal candidate you need to have good English and French knowledge and experience in Java or .net programming languages. You don´t need to know how to program in the mentioned languages, but you need to know how they are working. Ideally you have testing experience in software applications-Java or .net.
To understand the processes you should have technical education (Computer science, Electro engineering) or previous experience in the relevant field. You need to have knowledge / previous exposure of JAVA or .NET technologies (main technologies for all applications), BUT not on developer level!
You have also basic knowledge of databases (such as Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL) and understanding of basic OOP principals.
This position may require travel for on-site training abroad - training to the country according to language specification for 3 – 6 months
