Our client, a leading international medical technologies company, is currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join its Prague team.
Job description:
Assistance with preparation of budgets and forecasts
Reconciliation of data between BI and accounting systems
Running, analyzing and delivering various BI reports to end users
Preparation of data analysis for top management in response to various requests and queries
Preparation of various analyses on current spending vs. budget, vs. prior year
Preparation of data for external reporting
Providing support to accountants/finance manager during the month end and year end close processes
Involvement in quarterly SOX and FCPA testing
Ad-hoc reporting
Requirements:
University degree preferably in accounting/finance
3-5 years of job experience as an Accountant/Financial Analyst in an internationally focused organization
Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel (including pivot tables)
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience with standard ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Ability to meet tight deadlines and to plan work accordingly
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in both, written and spoken English and being comfortable with using language skills on a daily basis in a business environment
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
