A successful candidate will be responsible for processing the month-end closing operations, consolidate financial data, helping with processing more advanced accounting operations. He or she will also prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, oversee the AP and AR operations, monitor the company´s compliance with the SOX principles, identify cost saving opportunities and perform other ad-hoc tasks. This position requires regular business trips to Western Bohemia which take up around 20 per cent of the working hours.
A suitable candidate will have at least a secondary education and 2 years of relevant experience in the sphere of finance (accounting and/or controlling). Very good knowledge of MS Excel and very good level of the English language are essential. Previous experience with US GAAP standards and SOX principles, and the possession of a driver’s licence are of advantage. The right candidate should be a team player yet also should be able to work independently and under pressure.
