RETAIL/ CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

A well established and dynamically developing retail chain is looking to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to be responsible for their development activities in the Czech Republic.
The Construction Manager will be in charge of a team of Site/Project Managers.
He/she will be responsible for financial as well as time schedule of projects and in excellent quality. Other duties will cover preparation of feasibility studies, coordinating selection process of suppliers in order to find effective technologies and materials which will lead to cost reductions.
The Construction Manager will also attend regular meetings on sites as well as with management. The position involves some travelling connected with site inspections.
We are looking for a candidate with education in construction field and min. of 5 years experience of development/ reconstructions of retail projects. We expect that the candidate will have knowledge of construction standards, norms and building code. Very good command of MS Office and MS Project is expected. Leadership skills and assertiveness are very important.
We are looking for a positive, client oriented person with motivation and drive. Fluent Czech/ Slovak and English is essential. Drivers licence is also needed.
