Be part of strong and stable company within international group on the market, our client is generating business within energy industry, their brand is recognisable locally and globally and they would like to find suitable candidate for Category manager for specific Retail products with responsibility for CZ and SK market.
Job description:
- Drive the profitability of the assigned shop categories in CZ and SK (categories not defined yet), maximize margin delivery
- Develop category strategies using market intelligence, external and internal data and professional experience
- Develop category assortment, pricing, and promo decisions, develop planograms
- Operate the shop business within company’s specific site model; cooperate effectively with the Sales and Operations team and with the Retailers who operate the sites
- Apply locally company’s EU / Global framework contracts
- Manage supplier relations, ensure favourable supply conditions
- Manage and implement promotional activities of the respective categories
- Be active member of the regional Retail team and the CZ & SK Retail team
Candidate’s profile:
Ideal candidate will have previous strong experience in sales within Retail segment (grocery chain), min. 3-5 years of working experience. You must possess well developed sales and negotiations skills, Colleague/University degree, Fluent English and Czech/Slovak language is a must. Also strong management skills with ability to work under stress are required.
