Our client is a global healthcare company with 88 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. The company also has leading positions within haemophilia care, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy. The comapny employs approximately 32,000 employees in 75 countries, and markets its products in 179 countries.

The Device Research & Development department is responsible for early development of next generation devices for sub-cutaneous injection, and are continuously looking to improve the company’s current insulin pens and develop new and innovative ones.

Therefore, is our client looking for an innovative R&D engineer who can bring something new and innovative into their projects, and most importantly convert ideas into to concepts. The international R&D engineer should also be able to obtain an overview of all innovation stages i.e. from insight to production.


As a candidate you hold an academic degree for instance electronics/mechanical/polymer engineering, physics, etc. and are fluent in both oral and written English. You have a proven record and a solid understanding of technical constrains. As a candidate you have broad experience from mechanical engineering of mechanical systems and perhaps hardware system engineering in the early innovation stages. Preferably you have educational and working experience from abroad and you are willing to relocate to Denmark.

Furthermore, you can conceptualize three-dimensional mechanical systems and
understand and integrate requirements for robustness, functionality and design.
As a person you can take ownership for assigned tasks, be proactive and have a team player mentality.

You are able to handle and navigate in an ambiguous early phase of development, and can engage stakeholders internally and externally. Furthermore, you have a constructive attitude, have an energizing mindset and can cope with uncertainties regarding outcome of projects.
