The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical support for the cloud based software across the World. This person will also work on other programming and documentation projects as required. Technical Support Engineers deliver effective technical customer support to customer base, delivering solutions to both technical and nontechnical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies. Technical Support Engineers may be required to be on-call on a rotating basis throughout the year.
Requirements
Logical and analytical thinking
Communication skills
2 years of relevant work experience
Strong working knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
Some experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Ruby) and Java
General knowledge of SQL
Experience with data processing (working with relational databases, flat data files, etc.)
Business intelligence/analytics/data warehousing experience is a big plus
Practical experience with working in Unix/Linux environments
Willing to participate on 24x7 on-call support, weekend release support
Occasional travel is required
Big advantage is experience with design and implementation of ETL processes
