My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER - UNIX (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support of systems running across IT Services in Europe. Undertake proactive maintenance and administration of computer hardware, software and operations tools in support of the delivery of the IT service within the area of responsibility. Support business critical applications running within the area of responsibility of production services in IT Services.
You will need to assess, develop and implement the infrastructure and server builds. Gather, assess, and communicate critical information on a timely basis, by interacting with a broad set of teams. Learn continuously; keep up with all the quickly changing technologies and customers. Ensure implementation of new services and changes to existing services.
We require:
• 3 – 5 years' IT experience in providing support for one of major UNIX OS (preferably HP-UX)
• High school/University degree specialized to computer/technical area
• Experience in SHELL Programming
• Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation & High Availability products
• Experience with administration of HPVM or similar virtual machine environment will be an advantage
• Results oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on high quality
• Flexible approach with strong stress management skills
• Ability to build and manage partnerships
• Fluent written and spoken English
