IT Lead – International Projects

My client is an international company in the life sciences area, headquartered in the US. This is a global firm, with an excellent reputation on the international market. This company is currently implementing a number of new systems and business processes related to CRM, web and digital communication, BI and more. In addition, successful candidates will have accountability for local IT projects and initiatives driven from international management.
For this company, I am currently seeking the right candidate for the following position:
IT LEAD – INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
In this job, you will have a balance between management of local infrastructure and processes, and project management for new systems and processes implemented on a regional level. For local systems, you need to have a good understanding of the lifecycle for all systems currently in place and act as the main contact for IT from a regional perspective.
From a regional perspective, you will also receive requirements for technical and business process implementation and drive these initiatives forward on a local level. You will need to utilize your expertise and experience in Project Management to do this, as well as create and bridge relationships between business and IT. You will implement projects in the area of CRM, digital web technologies, and business intelligence also.
Candidates should note this is an independent role without direct subordinates, so you should apply if you are happy to take independent role with coordination responsibilities. You will be responsible for choosing, negotiating and driving forward cooperation with IT vendors on a local level. You can experience to report to a CEE regional IT manager, and liaise with IT Lead colleagues across the CEE region.
We require:
•.University Degree from an IT background, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years professional experience with IT
• 3+ years experience with ICT management
• Experience in IT management from an international business environment
• IT project management skills and track record
• Experience in implementation of SOX, Veeva, salesforce.com or BI projects strongly preferred
• Driven personality with passion to drive IT trends forward
• Fluent written and spoken English language required (international communication)
