My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER – CITRIX (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
Provision and administer Citrix infrastructure and hosted application / desktop services and cooperate on the support of all the rest of infrastructure services tightly connected to it. This can include Active Directory, Print server and File server. You can participate on different Infrastructure and projects for the Regional / Global initiatives.
You will design and implement infrastructure service improvements, developing procedures and tools for build of the improving delivery or operations of infrastructure, both technical and process based.
For all products, services and systems within the area of responsibility, you will need to demonstrate, install and commission infrastructure servers and their routine upgrades. You will also need to provide information on updates, known errors, changes in availability, new facilities and more.
You will timely deploy critical security patches to all servers supported by the Citrix team. You will also be responsible for testing, packaging and successfully deploying software/applications to the Citrix environment using the DSF tool or other products that are chosen / used by the Citrix team.
Build, configure and support the underlying server hardware / virtual server environment, to host new applications according to global server build standards.
We require:
• Minimum 4 years IT experience
• Minimum 2 years in similar role
• Proficient in Windows server deployment / administration / troubleshooting in deep knowledge
• Proficient in PowerShell, VBS, CMD etc. scripting / programming knowledge
• Proficient in Application delivery / deployment / troubleshooting experience on Windows platform
• Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop product family experience
• Proficient in Networking technology (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Secure Access Gateway, Security)
• Basic experience and knowledge of server virtualization (VMWare) and storage technologies
• Aware of Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards (ITIL)
