MSQL Database Developer

CMCV IT main responsibility is to develop IT solutions for Collateral Management (CMU), Client Valuations Group (CVG) and Global Netting for front office (GNA), globally. Collateral Optimization Unit (COU) is a new department setup within the front office to ensure that the firm has transparency and necessary controls in place to monitor the quality, funding and cost of collateral. In addition, with the Dodd-Frank regulation coming in to effect a number of business processes are set to change, which in turn will require technology processes to be re-aligned. An integral part of the 2013 CMCV roadmap is an aggressive technology build out which aims to provide the necessary front to back solutions for the Collateral Management business. To be successful, CMCV will need to continue to partner with Front Office sales and trading teams, Middle and Back Office operations, Risk, Finance and other technology teams including infrastructure and support. The team operates within an Agile (SCRUM) framework and has a global presence, with staff in London, New York, Prague and Singapore, and consists of the roles required for a full development cycle (PMs, BAs, Testers)

Main Function
Exposure Management is a key area of focus for the integration. The Exposure Manager application manages collateral for company business globally, and also supports the Global Netting product for the front office. This market-leading solution optimises margin and increases capital efficiency for hedge fund trading, performing a portfolio-wide margin calculation reflecting cross-netted risk.


This role is expanding the Prague based development team. The Database Developer will provide technical expertise to the development team.


Main Duties
The main duties of this role include:


•Provide SQL Server expertise to the CMCV IT Team
•Evaluate and resolve general database and performance problems
•Tuning of Stored Procedures to ensure best performance
•Design and implement new features based on business and technical requirements



Person Requirements

Qualifications/Education Preferred

Degree in a scientific subject
