This person will be responsible for the analysis of systems and requirements, and the design and build of solutions that may be inhouse, off-the-shelf or through third-parties. Contributing to the provision of any Quality Assurance, Configuration, Testing, Training or Documentation services required to successfully integrate and implement the final solution. General Responsibilities
Analyzing existing organizational processes and systems, defining target scenarios and evaluating and selecting standard software.
Conducting interviews with customers to establish their requirements. Presenting concepts and proposals, and providing updates on deliverables.
Acting as a co-ordinator across projects to prevent delays or misunderstandings.
Manage the performance and effectiveness of 3rd party vendors in the delivery of quality application software.
Applies standard methodologies when creating new programs and applications.
Acts as Technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards
Requirements
5 years experience in software engineering and methods including formal methods (e.g. Prince 2).
An experienced professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field.
Experience in Business Inteligence:
- Data migration
- IBM Data Stage, Informatica or other ETL
- Teradata DWH
- Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy or other BI tools
