Job description
- support the board in introducing and developing a merchandising concept from stage 1 (pilot phase for one category for 3 stores) to stage 2 (merchandising for one category in all stores) to stage 3 (merchandising for multiple categories in all stores)
- build the team, including hiring, training and managing various merchandising teams (all of this supported by the local management team) in relevant CEE countries
- coordinate software development and implementation of reporting processes
- communicate and coordinate with the management team of the retail partner and with the suppliers for whom we will introduce the new concept
- expand the concept to other countries in the CEE market
Desired profile
- many years of experience in the merchandising business
- experience in introducing{developing retail based merchandising concepts for at least 3 years
- leadership skills, able to develop staff and bring out the best in people
- proven bigger teams management experience
- strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- strategic thinker able to take initiative and implement ideas
- outgoing and communicative with strong relationship-building skills
- strong personality
- English speaking
