My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

SENIOR BI ENGINEER – ORACLE, TERADATA (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing of ETL and Business Intelligence solutions. You will need to be in communication with internal customers to have a good understanding of technical requirements and to prepare system specifications and proposals. The core activity will be the development of ETL, database and data warehouse solutions.
Lead the development process, ensure systems are developed in the required quality and on time. Assist in the definition, initiation and design of system architecture. Work with business partners, suppliers, and support teams to deliver the best solution.
We require:
• University Education from an IT or technical background is a strong advantage here
• Around 5 years experience with in data warehouse design and implementation (Teradata, Oracle BI, MS BI or SAP BI)
• 3 years of experience of ETL development (IBM DataStage, ODI, or SSIS)
• Experience with BI reporting (Cognos or SAP BO)
• Experience with managing small to medium development teams
• 2 years plus experience with one or more development languages (C#, Java, ASP.NET)
• Advanced SQL programming skills
• Fluent spoken and written English language
