Perform financial and operational audits throughout the Company. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and offer suggestions for improvement in reports to management. Support IA Manager in assisting the Audit & Risk Committee with its oversight responsibilities and to assist management with the following:
Responsibilities:
- Performing tests and analyses, gathering audit evidence, evaluating results and developing conclusions about the adequacy of internal controls in the branches and HO.
- Writing observations and recommendations in audit reports to management.
- Assisting IA Manager in developing audit work program outlining the testing procedures and audit evidence required to meet the audit objectives.
- Discussing results of audit tests and conclusions with management.
- Assist with special projects, as needed. Requirements: Experience/knowledge:
- University degree in Finance.
- 2 years full time work experience in auditing (external, internal), accounting, or general business. “Big 4” significant advantage.
- Understanding of IFRS / local GAAP.
- Experience with financial internal controls review surrounding the general ledger, the accounts preparation and the reconciliation processes.
- Advanced knowledge of English and Czech/Slovak.
Skills:
- Ability to think critically, make assessments and develop conclusions.
- Speaking and presentation skills and written communication skills in English and Czech.
- Proactive, and is comfortable in challenging peers and senior management.
- Advanced PC user skills
- Valid driving licence and experienced driver.
