PERL/C SW ENGINEER / MIDI

For our client, a company that provides enterprise platform for business intelligence, I am looking for PERL/C SW ENGINEER
This role is suitable for person who has experience with Perl, C/C++ and Linux programming, having a strong background in relational databases and knowledge of related fields such as deductive databases, data mining and middleware is a plus.
Responsibilities
Design and implementation of the Analytical Engine and its APIs (modeling, ETL, Query)
Participate in the ongoing evolution of the specific multi-dimension tool and its algebraic representation Leading pro-active cross-team communication Technical design and documentation authoring
Requirements
•Excellent data structures / data processing knowledge is an essential prerequisite
•SQL, Perl, C/C++ knowledge is a must
•Additional programming and scripting languages are a plus (Erlang, Java, JavaScript)
•Fluent English
•Experience with UML is an advantage
•Experience with distributed applications development is an advantage
•University degree in the field of computer science or information systems.
