Accounts Receivable Analyst with Greek

Our client, a global company and a first class brand in its industry, is currently looking for a skilled Account Receivable Analyst, who is fluent in Greek.
While working on this position, you will
• Perform AR activities (including collection) for international markets
• Identify opportunities for AR process enhancements and work with staff and senior management to implement
• Ensure all customer payments due are received and matched on time and correctly according to internal rules.
• Resolve customer financial queries via phone, email. Liaising with market business partners to resolve said queries.
• Manage overdue payments and discrepancies. Prepare and dispatch dunning letters/ statements.
• Manage application of customer discounts
• Ensure bad debt write-offs are approved by a signatory of the appropriate level
• Provide support to reconciliations between local GL / US GAAP / IFRS
• Work with individual markets and other finance colleagues to resolve credit disputes
• Interface regularly with bank personnel concerning processing of payments and the transmission of files
• Participate in transformation project
• Develop and assist in automating processes utilizing innovative technical and processing solutions
A successful candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance and minimum 1 year experience in accounting and/or cash application. S/he is fluent in English and Greek (both spoken and written) and proficient in PC skills (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint). S/he has strong communication skills and is able to work on their own initiative. You can also increase your chances if you have experience with relationship management, administration, customer service, knowledge / experience of US GAAP and IFRS.
