COMMODITIES PURCHASER - AGRICULTURAL/VEMI

An international agricultural company is looking for an experienced Commodities Purchaser to pursue further the regional business and gain a major position in the area.
In this position you will be responsible for purchasing different agricultural commodities, communicating directly with local producers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management, and contract change management for all agricultural commodities. This role is very independent, Regular reporting, directly to the top management, on sourcing projects/suppliers, benefits, cost savings, analyzing supplier performance and data for contract compliance to identify improvements and ensure effective spend/cost plan.
A successful candidate for this position should have minimum 3 years experience at a similar position, working experience from a corporate environment and fluent English. We are looking for a dynamic, communicative and stress resistant individual able to take over the whole agenda independently adding own thoughts and suggesting improvements eventually.
