My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

SYSTEM SUPPORT SPECIALIST – LINUX (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
This role is ideal for someone who wants to work in an international environment, providing support on the Linux platform.
You will provide Red Hat Enterprise Linux based servers in a large/datacenter server environment. Expect to conduct incident and problem investigation and resolution, as well as conduct proactive maintenance activities. Conduct scripting activities, system patching, system recovery, performance analysis and support for other teams as required.
Your support will be on the 2nd level and you will be working to implement changes on RHEL – based systems. You will perform performance analysis of Linux systems (disk, memory and CPU performance).
We require:
• University Education from an IT or technical background is an advantage here
• You should have a background with supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar (CentOS)
• Experience within a large/datacenter server environment
• Experience with Server hardware, back-up, SAN, redundant LAN, clustering
• Experience with change, incident and problem management
• Fluent spoken and written English language
