TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Become owner of the overall IT infrastructure architecture of the bank
• Actively participate in defining and updating bank's IT strategy and infrastructure architecture standards
• Communicate with business owners, project managers, vendors to steer ongoing projects and ensure their fit into IT infrastructure
• Propose solutions fitting business requirements
• Participate on selection processes of new applications, HW and additional SW
• Approve the usage/introduction of IT infrastructure for every new system/application in the bank which has direct impact on business
• Evaluate and propose sizing of the systems and applications
• Have knowledge of IT infrastructure, application portfolios and IT related processes
• Define implementation standards
• Help to setup proper procedures in IT ops and IT dev and interfaces to 3rd parties
• Become responsible for IT infrastructure planning and implementation • Responsible for financial planning and cost optimization in infrastructure area.
NEEDED SKILLS:
• University education (IT area)
• Min. 5 years experience (preferable in the banking industry) – at least 2 years at architect or similar position
• Advanced knowledge of IT processes, IT application portfolio, architecture and IT infrastructure (knowledge of banking processes is an advantage).
• Knowledge of architecture patterns (SOA, ESB, BPM etc.)
• Knowledge of integration technologies and platforms (WS, JMS, MQ, SFTP, Websphere, Websphere Message Broker etc. or similar)
• Knowledge of Servers, OS (UNIX, LINUX, Windows)
• Knowledge of virtualization methods (servers, storage)
• Knowledge of Storage, Disk arrays, Tape libraries, SAN infrastructure
• Knowledge of networking architecture and related issues (virtual IPs, TCP load balancing, DNS design)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and standards
• Hands-on technical skills (e.g. SQL, Java, Unix).
• Experience from large scale IT implementation and integration projects
