Principal Software Engineer - SharePoint

Summary:
The Principal Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing SharePoint based applications. He/she will also be providing support in migration projects, conducting requirements analysis and consulting to Business units.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge in:
- MS SharePoint 2007 / 2010 / 2013
- P/SD .NET technologies (e.g. .Net 2.0/ 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5, MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET Web Forms, Workflow Foundation (WF)
- SharePoint Designer, IIS and editing web configuration files
- Solid understanding of the SharePoint API as a whole
- C# and or VB.NET
- JavaScript, jQuery
- CSS
- PowerShell
- XSL/ XSLT
- Data mapping, content management, TCPIP / FTP and HTML
- P/SD Enterprise Content Management (e.g. Document Management, Form Management, MS Office InfoPath)
- Microsoft Virtual PC
Nice to have:
- ASP.NET MVC experience
- SharePoint 2013 Apps experience
- Windows Azure
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree specialized to computer/technical area is preferable
- 3-5 years’ experience in a development environment, preferably experience with SharePoint development
- Excellent English knowledge, communication skills, and troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Constructive way of communication
- Open and positive-minded
- Ability to talk to Business Partners on their level of technical communication but constantly matching against possible technical approaches
- Ability to estimate efforts
- Finding right-sized solutions (not technical solutions as self-fulfilment)
