For our client, a company that delivers IT solutions used worldwide, I am looking for Senior Citrix Support
Specialist
You will be responsible for:
Provide technical expertise to resolve 3rd level technical support issues and ensure that all escalations are successfully resolved and that all emergency fixes/changes are appropriately documented and implemented.
Design and implement all Windows based infrastructure services located within the ITSC i.e DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Print server, File server.
Design and implement virtualization and/or shared platforms (based on VMware, Citrix or other actual technologies).
Develop procedures and tools for build of the virtualization and/or shared platform, build of virtual machines, operations of virtual machines, operations and further development of the virtualization platform.
Responsible for the implementation of solutions which are scaleable and supportable and aligned with global standards and industry best demonstrated practices.
Leads technical projects in all areas of Windows infrastructure, directory services, and related technologies.
Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science or IT related discipline or extensive experience of minimally 3-5 years as an Infrastructure Architect/Engineer.
Working knowledge and/or certification in Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Network Operating Systems Essentials, Supporting Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Professional and Server, Supporting a Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Network infrastructure.
Previous experience with implementing and administering a Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Directory Service in a Window’s 2003/2008 environment would be an advantage.
Experience with Poweshell and VBA
Knowledge of Citrix – XenUp, knowledge of Citrix Terminal services is advantage.
English at advanced level.
