Our client, a well established international company selling luxury products, is currently looking to expand its Prague-based accounting team with the position of Senior Accountant.
You will be responsible for posting fixed assets, reconciliation of sales, payment processes and bank, as well as suppliers and stock accounts reconciliations. You will also cover month-end closings, cooperate with external auditors and banks and assist with the monthly and annual reporting. In addition to that you will prepare the monthly VAT and cooperate on calculation of income and deferred tax. Occasionally you will substitute the chief accountant in case of her absence.
A suitable candidate will have relevant academic background and at least 3 years of experience as an Independent Accountant, ideally at retail/logistic company. Excellent knowledge of the Czech accounting and tax standards, knowledge of SAP, fluency in the English and Czech language and very good MS Excel skills are essential. Experience with team management and the IFRS standards are an added advantage. We are looking for a flexible and hard-working team player who has great communication and organizational skills. He or she should be independent at work and be able to help other colleagues when necessary.
