Regional Procurement manager with English and German

In this role your resposabilities would be:

• Strategy Development & Execution – aligned with specific BU or Category responsibility
• Drive Cost / Value Improvement across the External Supply Chain Spend
• Supplier Selection – Identify and select new suppliers
• Supplier Qualification – Lead a cross functional team in the qualification and ongoing audit of the supply base.
• Competitive Sourcing – Issue RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation, contract award. On all Indirect it also includes the PO Release.
• Contract Administration – Manage existing contracts, dispute resolution, changes, renewal, default, etc.
• Direct Material Standard Setting – Set direct material standards annually and on new material specifications
• Category Management – Identify key categories (commodities); develop comprehensive strategies; monitor the industry; drive and execute cost improvement projects
• Supplier Management – Identify key suppliers; pro-actively monitor their health, performance, significant events, and the relationship; supplier scorecards
• Supplier Quality – Establish appropriate controls to monitor key quality characteristics, predict and detect issues, analyze root cause for issues, and take corrective actions as appropriate
• Supplier Diversity – Drive and manage the company effort to provide opportunities to women-and minority-owned businesses to supply our requirements
• Working Capital Management – Manage raw material and maintenance material inventory, Negotiate favorable payment terms, and manage supplier payments
• Forecasting & Analysis – Provide forecasts and analysis required for financial, capital, and strategic planning and budgeting
• Support the execution of eSourcing/eAuction events and projects
• Support the implementation of eSourcing best practice strategies, tactics, and supporting tools
• Approximately $50-$100M Procurement Spend (Direct and Indirect)
• Company contract signature authority
• Responsibility for more than 50 suppliers
