Our client is an established IT development firm that specialises in developing software for chromatography systems and chemical analysers for scientific application across the globe. The development team works with new modern technologies and the software is at the cutting-edge of this sector. Developers are given the opportunity to work on parts of the system which are interesting and stimulating for them, and can be involved in software architecture on particular projects. For their collective we currently seek the following role:
Java SE Developer – Chemical Analyser Software (Ref: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
Develop systems for data acquisition, evaluation and measurement of data collected from chemical analysis systems in Java SE technologies! Develop on-line control modules and drivers for analyser systems
Java technologies cover a fresh version of the system; play an important role in the development of new client / server version of system. You can develop in the following areas; client servers, database integration functionality, user interface and new functionality.
Play an important role in the development team, by contributing you your development know-how and skills. Cooperate on developing the standalone solution as well as working on customized products for international distributors!
We require:
• Strong knowledge and practice with Java SE and development
• Knowledge and practice with Eclipse RCP, SWT, Hibernate frameworks
• UML experience is an advantage
• 2 years + development experience
• Minimum High School Education from a technical background, University is preferred
• Motivation to work with unique, interesting technologies that are applied in the scientific field
• Communicative English language as a minimum
• Ability to learn implement and deliver
• Detail orientation and independent
• Integrity, Team player and development drive
