My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

SENIOR ARCHITECT - BI (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
In this job you will be in communication with internal clients and project teams in the design and development of integrated solutions in business intelligence. You will guide development and modifications to solution components to BI systems. You will need to ensure that the systems have relevant architecture and adhere to business strategies, policies, standards and practices.
Investigate, analyze and document business functions, processes and information in a methodical approach. Define architecture requirements and create viable specifications, for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. Manage architecture-related communication, developing and updating enterprise architecture, as well as defining architectural guidelines. You will also review and provide consulting to projects on enterprise IT architecture topics, particularly around cross-application integration.
You will need to communicate and educate about value and principles of architecture and their application. Lead the definition, initiation and design of architecture in projects. Coordinate collaboration with external service providers in terms of assembling own or third-party system components. Bring new methodology standards when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones. Document work using the required standards, methods and tools.
We require:
• University education from a technical or IT sphere is strongly preferred here
• Strong experience with Data Warehouse System Design and Architecture
• Experience with system integration technologies (SOA, WebServices, ETL, MSMQ)
• Deep Knowledge of Teradata databases and DB software engineering
• Deep Knowledge of DWH Reporting architecture (Cognos)
• Experience with DWH test planning and management
• Strong Analytical and communication skills
• Customer and problem solving focus
• Goal oriented
