Brief job description
Responsibility for manual and automated testing of new functionality, including but not limited to:
- Analysis of system requirements
- Design of test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Test case execution
- Analysis of test results
- Defect reporting
- Preparation of test documentation as appropriate
- Working with remote client/team resources
- Support the business during the testing phase of projects
Essential skills:
- Test analysis/design (>1 year experience)
- Test management (>1 year experience)
- Manual testing (>1 year experience)
- Test automation (>1 year experience)
- Performance testing (>1 year experience)
- Testing tools (management, automation, performance, bug tracking)
- Programming experience (>1 year experience)
- SQL (>1 year experience)
- Unix – basics (>1 year experience)
Optional skills:
- Test environment setup
- Experience with iterative (Agile/Scrum) development
Soft skills:
- Team Player - willing to share information and follow group standards
- Open-minded and pro-active person
- Pragmatic yet showing a high attention to detail
- Independent, self-driven person with ability to multi-task

Also required:
- Very good communication skills in English, verbal and written, knowledge of German advantageous
- Experienced in communication with business users
- Willingness to work in a multi-national corporate environment
- Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix structures
- Open to occasional travelling
