Solution Integrator – Oracle (Telco area)

Responsibilities:
• Integration of Oracle DB systems for server products under GSM/UMTS operator’s infrastructure
• Contribution to server solution installation / configuration / deployment on project basis
• Enterprise application/solution in Unix environment integration with customer and in-house end systems and backends
• Contribution in end-to-end integration of server solutions
• Technical coordination, responsibility for technical scope of the design and development and implementation of a product, autonomous
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree ideally in IT/Telco/electro
• Fluent English
• At least 3 years experience with Oracle integration and administration (full-time) in IT with larger projects (solution or application deployment/ installation/ configuration in Java based enterprise environment)
• Experienced with system integration & deployment
• Database administration Oracle 9i/10g/11g
• Database performance tuning, optimisation monitoring and sizing
• Backup and recovery (RMAN)
• Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
• Good knowledge of Oracle utilities (imp/exp, Sql loader, Data Pump)
• Good knowledge of Unix like OS (HP UX, Sun Solaris, Linux)
• Experienced with Bash/ Shell scripting
• Knowledge of IP networks
• Experienced with life cycle of the project
• Willing to travel on business abroad (1-2 days/month, usually max. 2 weeks)
• Very good analytical mind and problem solving skills
• Customer and service orientation
• Very good communication skills
• Proactive, open-minded, friendly, autonomous but a team player when necessary
