The security engineer is responsible for the maintenance of complete lifecycle of security components throughout the company.
Guides and influences the team members and departments for which we deliver IT development/support. This position requires knowledge about security tools, ArcSight and ITIL/reporting processes
You will be responsible for:
• Provides 3rd line support to the incident, problem and change processes and is willing to participate in and on-call schedule
• Interfaces with third parties as responsible for the support we provide and the SLAs that we have with our customers
• Communicates, shares and distributes knowledge across the team
• Tests software and components (also with connecting new assets in ArcSight)
• Writes parsers in order to connect assets to ArcSight
• Is responsible for security incidents and problems resolution for the regional IT
• Secures component documentation and work instructions within IT
• Writes, modifies and handles OSG’s (Operational security guideline) and TVCA’s (Threat vulnerability compliance assessment) for the regional IT
• Maintains technical IDS’s, vulnerability scanners
• Maintains firewall rules, IDS signatures and vulnerability profiles
Requirements:
• Education: Graduate level (preferably from IT)
• Demonstrated experience in Linux/Windows administration
• Demonstrated experience in ArcSight/Security monitoring
• Demonstrated experience in firewall management (Juniper, Junos, Checpoint)
• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in professional IT environments with a focus HW&OS
• Certified in various IT components
• Good English both written and spoken
Preferred are candidates with EU citizenship because of work permit.
