Our client is a dynamic Czech IT consultancy that provides consultancy to large finance institutions in the area of data warehouse integration and business intelligence. They are a small consultancy with a family atmosphere focussing on strong technical consultancy with a driven environment and implementation and consultancy on the client side. We are currently seeking the following position:
DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER – SQL (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
You will be assigned to a project and working on the integration of DWH technologies and BI systems. You will be part of a core team proposing and developing data warehouse functionality. You can be working with Teradata, Oracle or MS SQL technology, depending on the technology. Develop in SQL in the data warehouse itself, and work actively with ETL processes. In this job, you also can have the opportunity to work on the business intelligence platform, and our client works with a range of platforms. We require:
• Minimum high-school education from a technical background
• 2 years plus experience in BI or Data Warehousing technologies
• Strong experience in SQL development on the Oracle platform, Teradata or MS SQL systems
• Good experience with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Warehouse Builder, IBM DataStage)
• Experience and Knowledge of installation and maintenance of these technologies above
• Good analytical skills
• Representation skills
• Team player, flexibility, ability to learn new things
• At least communicative English language
