My client is an international manufacturer of exhaust and engineered systems for the automotive sector. It is a global company with many plants across around the world. In their plant in Brandýs nad Labem, they have a centralised IT department which also is responsible for European IT functions.

ANALYST/DEVELOPER - PYTHON (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
To design, develop, test, document and implement new and existing Python / MySQL based programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed technical standards. Work with a variety of programming specifications to develop applications in Python language. You will also be working with database functionality in SQL.
You will produce or assist in the production and refinement of the detailed specifications for the applications. Conduct code reviews and functionality testing to ensure programs run on an optimum basis. Debug source code and error resolution following reported incidents by the company user community.
We require:
• Education from a technical field, ideally from a software development background. University education will be an advantage here
• Minimum three year’s plus experience with Python development (Python 2, 3)
• Experience in the Eclipse framework, Subversion
• Experience with database technologies (e.g. MySQL, MS SQL)
• Fluent English language
• Team spirit, team player
