Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a globally operating company providing intelligent print management solutions. For their growing team in Prague, we are looking for experienced Quality Assurance Engineer.
Responsibilities & tasks:
• Performs manual and exploratory testing as needed
• Develops, reviews and executes manual and automated tests
• Interprets requirements to develop positive and negative test scenarios
• Develops and maintains test execution steps in an automated framework
• Alerts development team to product design inconsistencies and/or deviations from standards and recommends alternatives that would lead to a more optimal user experience.
• Ensures that acceptance criteria are met.
• Communicates periodically with immediate supervisor about status of area of responsibility
Role requirements:
• Technical skills, knowledge of Windows as well as native applications including installation and configuration
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Understanding of software programming
• Communication skills, friendly and initiative.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in working with relational databases and writing SQL queries (advantage)
• Communicative Czech language knowledge
• Communicative English language knowledge, especially in technical area
