My client is a leading global pharmaceutical company which has a presence in over 140 countries around the world and offer medicines and products in a range of different healthcare area. It is currently building a Global Operations Centre here in Prague, which employs highly qualified IT professionals to provide centralised IT services to support operations in Europe, the Americas and Asia. We are searching for candidates in the following role:
APPLICATION MANAGER – SHAREPOINT (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for operational and life cycle aspects of applications on the SharePoint platform. It’s important that the applications meet company obligations regarding internal and regulatory processes. You will do this by both being in communication with internal stakeholders to analyse and understand application requirements, but also you will drive developers within an external vendor to develop the required applications; either from scratch, or provide functional changes. The job will including driving the following processes:
• Functional and conceptual design specifications of SharePoint applications
• Data and process modelling
• Prototype development
• Develop and test programs using the defined software development environment
• Coordination and guidance of external partners
You can expect to plan, budget and resource for particular applications. Interface with external vendors to make sure the business needs are met. Analyze, design, realize, document and implement IT Solutions. Make sure the IT service contracts are in place and reach the adequate SLAs. Collaborate with the Sourcing Organization on supplier management by establishing, reviewing, and approving key contracts with external service providers.
We require:
• Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline, at least 6 years of experience in IT application development & application management
• 5+ years of technical expertise in application architecture, .NET & SharePoint
• Java experience
• Database technologies (Oracle and SQL-Server, SSRS, SSIS)
• Operating systems: Linux, UNIX and Windows OS
• Sound expertise in system design and project management
• Fluent written and spoken English (German and French language skills are beneficial)
