ERP SOLUTION CONSULTANT – FINANCE BACKGROUND

My client is an international ERP implementation company, with over 2500 employees worldwide and in 50 countries around the world. They are a strong competitor to the top ERP companies and provide such systems largely to manufacturing and project-based companies. In the Czech Republic they have an expanding and successful office driving new implementations. We are looking for candidates from a solid finance background to become implementation consultants of ERP solutions. They will be ongoing, on-the-job training for this role, and we need candidates with solid knowledge of financial processes to bring to our client industry expertise. ERP SOLUTION CONSULTANT – FINANCE BACKGROUND (REF: WEDI)

Responsibilities:

Do you have a strong financial background, but dream of getting away from the numbers and improving company processes? Would you prefer a consulting background but you would still like to use your finance know-how and skills? Perhaps this could be for you!

Your core role here will be the implementation of ERP systems from initial analysis through to implementation. You will manage the communication and analysis with manufacturing and project-orientated clients, and coordinate your own activities, as well as the activities of other consultants and developers to provide a fully integrated ERP solution.

You will mostly be working on processes surrounding the implementation of finance modules for manufacturing clients. You will bring your expertise in financial process and international practices, and apply your own know-how to the solution itself. You will be given in-depth training regarding implementation methodology, so you do not need to be a specialist in this area.

We require:

• University education from a financial or economic background is ideal
• Financial management or controlling background is ideal here (we will also consider analyst or accounting backgrounds)
• We require experience in several of the following; general ledger, corporate statements, cash flow, consolidation, international financial processes
• Solid overall experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS standards
• Implementation experience with IFS, SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage but not required
• Active motivation to learn a new area and work in system implementation from a business background/perspective.
• Team spirit, team player
• Good level of English language
