My client is a growing international firm developing travel expense systems and applications. They develop applications in this field both of international corporate clients as well as individual clients like you and me.
They are a global company with a development and service centre here in Prague. This development centre is international, so you can expect a collective of international technical specialists with a clear vision as to where their products will take the company in the future. We are currently searching for the following candidates:
SENIOR TESTER - WEB AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS (REF: WED)
Responsibilities:
Our client has a brand new travel application that assists the normal user to plan their journey, itinerary and travel expenses. This application is a key stone of the company’s activity and they are hiring a dynamic collective of IT specialists to contribute to its development. As a senior QA for this application, your job will be working directly with the testing team, creating, maintaining and improving automated testing on web and mobile based applications. You will be involved in both manual and automated testing processes – the company uses Selenium, so you can expect to use this software. Bring your expertise to the team and contribute to improving QA within the collective.
You will also contribute to manual testing with in-depth functional knowledge. You will communicate with management regarding project risks, status and solutions. Work with your team to prepare to build functional and technical expertise. Be a part of a dynamic technical team improving a key company application.
We require:
• University Education from a technical field is preferred for this position
• 5 years plus experience in SW testing and QA
• Experience in automated testing and Selenium
• You should have a solid background with is and/or Android platforms
• Experience with Ruby/Cucumber for mobile automation
• Development skills in Java (experience in C# / .NET is also relevant)
• Experience in SQL within testing
• Experience with APIs and Web Services
• English language required for this role
