For our client, a corporate leader in construction and development, we are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Manager, who will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of standards of health and safety in a construction environment as part of global strategy executed by the client.
H&S Manager ensures compliance with principles, rules and legal regulations on site. His/her day to day responsibilities will consist of monitoring and controlling that the safety regulations on sites are met, control of correctness and complexity of documents and safety signs.
This position offers a space for assertiveness as he/she will be responsible for an improvement of H&S standards on sites. Good communication and presenting skills are necessary for H&S manager as he/she will be responsible for a delivery of internal training and instructions regarding H&S.
A successful candidate is required to have university degree, preferably in technical specialisation; he/she is a holder of a suitable H&S certification (BOZP, 14001 or 18001 Auditor) and should have at least 3 years experience in a similar position (does not have to be a managerial position). Fluentness in English language is a must as he/she will be reporting to English speaking management on a daily basis.
