My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

SENIOR APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST - SAP PI (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
As an SAP PI Specialist, you will work within our client’s SAP Solutions Centre. You should be comfortable working within a support organization and utilize your good knowledge of SAP PI (XI).
You can expect to resolve incidents and standard change requests related to issues with SAP PI. You will need to ensure that incidents and standard changes are resolved within the target times dictated by the company SLAs.
You can expect to actively monitor XI systems for Procurement and Accounting. You will evaluate problems, change requests and advice on the requirements and resolve the problems. Make changes according to business requirements.
You will be expected to pro-actively seek, identify and makes recommendations for areas of improvement. Provide technical leadership and coordination during SAP releases and projects/upgrades, overall bringing technical leadership for less experienced team members
We require:
• University education from a technical or IT background is strongly preferred here
• +3 years of SAP PI experience
• You should have experience with configuration and development of interfaces with proxies, XSLT mapping, adapter engine and file adapter
• A good understanding of the PI Architecture including the Repository, Directory and Runtime Integration Engine
• Basic ABAP knowledge/ knowledge of XML and XSLT
• A basic overview of SAP FI / CO / SRM / BW processes will help
• Knowledge of using a combination of either Business Connector, DCOM Connector, .Net Connector, Java Connector, RFCs is also desirable
• Knowledge of J2EE internet based development is an advantage
• You should be a team player with experience in a support environment
• Strong analytical skills are essential
• Advanced English - written and spoken – is required for this position
