For our client, a company that provides enterprise platform for business intelligence, I am looking for SW Test Engineer
The primary responsibility of the SW Test Engineer is to develop and maintain automated testing framework. It is expected that he/she takes lead and initiative in terms of proposing, designing and implementing improvements of automated testing framework, thus leading to overall quality assurance improvements on ongoing and sustainable basis.
The SW Test Engineer works in the context of the Quality Assurance department thus interfacing with Product Management, Engineering and Operations. The role requires high levels of both technical and communication skills alongside with the ability to coordinate efforts between multiple departments as well as project management skills.
Experience with the following tools and technologies:
Unix/Linux operating system
Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby or shell
Test web application. Both UI and REST backend,
Know how to automate with Selenium
Advantage:
Knowledge of Git or Mercurial,
Knowledge of test frameworks - JUnit, Cucumber,
Can read and understand code of Java or JavaScript,
Understand continuous integration using - Jenkins
