For our client, a company that delivers IT solutions used worldwide, I am looking for Senior BI Architect
This person will be responsible for analyses and documents all or part of a business in a methodical approach. Defines architecture requirements, creating viable specifications, for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. Develops and updates the enterprise architecture. Defines architecture guidelines. Reviews and provides consulting to projects on enterprise IT architecture topics, particularly around cross-application integration. The design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing.
General Responsibilities
Working relationships with people responsible for architectural communication
Communicate effectively all important news that should be made available to the architectural community
Develop communication strategies with the aim to improve the effectiveness of communication Analyze public events regarding IT architecture and bring them to the attention of the members of the team
Leads the definition, initiation and design of architecture in projects
Applies standard methodologies when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones
Documents work using the required standards, methods and tools.
Requirements
• 5 years of experience as Business Intelligence architect or/and lead developer
• Developing experience in J2EE or .NET
• IBM Cognos BI suite 8 and 10 architect
• IBM Cognos BI development experience
• IBM Cognos TM1
• IBM Cognos Framework Manager
• Good communication skills
• Good team player
• Fluent English both written and spoken
