Our client is a dynamic international IT consultancy that provides a range of consultancy and support services to international companies in many business sectors. They have over 300 staff across the Czech Republic and support international projects with expertise in development and large application support. For one international project in the finance area, we are seeking IT professionals for the following role:
ORACLE DEVELOPER – PL/SQL (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
You will be assigned to a project supporting, developing and expanding systems in one of the largest investment banks around the world. You will be part of a team focusing on application development support and maintenance of databases and data warehouses on the Oracle platform. You will design and develop high volume data marts. You should expect PL/SQL development responsibilities as well as working with ETL processes. You will be conducting system customisation as well as change request specification. You will need to solve problems and operational issues, and provide knowledge handover where required.
We require:
• Minimum high-school education from a technical background
• 1 year plus professional experience with Oracle, PL/SQL
• Experience with data warehousing, reporting, ETL and BI systems
• Ability to write scripts in any scripting language (e.g. VB script, JavaScript, Perl, Shell Scripts)
• Working communication skills in English
• Team player, flexibility, ability to learn new things
• Customer orientated work ethic
• Abilities to work with virtual collaboration
