You will be responsible for creation and development of a business driven ICT architecture plan that supports both current and future needs, focusing on resilient, interoperable and scalable solutions that can be adapted to meet the changing needs of the company.
This includes maintenance of architecture and capacity plans, providing internal consultancy on technical architectural issues and ensuring lifecycle management of ICT component solutions. It also includes participation on the administration of the ICT environment(s) as well as the support of selected systems in the environment.
Key Tasks and Activities:
Collaborate with business users, management and colleagues to define business requirements as a base for ICT architecture planning
Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s ICT architecture/infrastructure
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure stability
Develop, agree with all parties involved, document and maintain the systems/services architecture standards and plans
Develop, document, make recommendations and communicate plans for investing in IT infrastructure/services, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities
Review new and existing IT projects, systems designs and procurement/outsourcing plans for compliance with ICT standards and architectural plans
Collaborate on implementation of integrated ICT systems
Develop and manage an infrastructure capacity plan
Make recommendations for improvement
Provide ICT architectural consulting expertise and direction
Build good working relationships with line managers, team and associated resources in support of business goals
Ensure clear communication of ICT Architecture standards across the organisation
Propose and define change and developments to key ICT/Security processes in support of business needs
Communicate and cooperate with international counterparts on daily basis
Participate on systems support and incident resolution, including 24x7 on-call support
Experience & Qualifications:
You have at least Bachelor degree within the IT or an equivalent background;
ITIL Service foundation certification an advantage
You are fluent in English both verbal and written
You have proven record of expert System administration and support, including Microsoft and Unix environments
You have server, storage, VMWare and LAN/WAN principles experience
You have excellent overview of current, past and emerging IT technologies
You have in depth understanding of the business and technical issues associated with the analysis, design, implementation and support of information systems architecture
You have CLOUD technologies and migration/integration projects experience, both infrastructure and applications related
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
