ADMINISTRATOR - LINUX PLATFORM (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
As part our client’s Linux administration team, you will be part of a collective focussed on the installation, maintenance and monitoring of production and internal system architecture. You will have on-call monitoring duties online, over SMS, on call. The team works on weekly rotations to solve critical issues. You can expect to make enhancement suggestions and have close cooperation with development teams! It’s a top, hot company to work for!
We require:
• Education from a technical/IT background
• Good knowledge of Linux (preferably Debian/Ubuntu) or UNIX based OS
• Good knowledge of Apache, PostgreSQL, PHP
• Good knowledge of bash scripting
• Knowledge of any other scripting/programming language is an advantage
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, Hadoop is an advantage
• Knowledge of AWS is an advantage
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
