IT ADMINISTRATOR – JUNIOR (BRNO) (REF: WEDI)

My client is an international company specialised in the development and production of Children’s play equipment. They have a production and engineering site on the outskirts of Brno, this site has a lovely, friendly atmosphere of driven employees. What is special about this site is they have a small IT department that provides IT support and administration across the entire group. This means that as an IT specialist, you will have the opportunity to work at part of an international organisation and be exposed to a wide range of technologies. We are currently searching for: IT ADMINISTRATOR – JUNIOR (BRNO) (REF: WEDI)

Responsibilities:

As a junior IT specialist, your job will be to come on board and learn the work and technologies the team use to support international partners. You can expect to monitor and maintain company computers and software systems and maintain the health of in-house data networks and server infrastructure. Expect to assist company employees, both local and remote, make effective and efficient use of their computing resources.

You will be solving server and end-user hardware and software issues in a Windows Server and Windows desktop OS environment. You can expect to maintain user accounts in Active Directory and for cloud services. You will provide assistance to remote users in a mobile computing (iPhones, iPads, and mobile device management system) and VPN environment too. You will be working with incident management, problem escalation and communication with development teams. You will be a part of a great IT team!

We require:

• Minimum High School education for this role
• About 2 years experience in IT field
• Solid knowledge of Windows 7+ operating systems and support
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010+ applications
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and support.
• Working knowledge of administrating common TCP/IP-based services (DHCP, DNS)
• Ability to work during non-business hours to recover critical IT situations
• Very good verbal / written communication, team player, stress resistant, customer / user oriented.
• Good level of English.
• Knowledge of MS Visual Basic, SharePoint, iOS, Android are advantages
