My client is an international company specialised in the development and production of Children’s play equipment. They have a production and engineering site on the outskirts of Brno and this site has a lovely, friendly atmosphere of driven employees.
What is special about this site is they have a small IT department that provides IT support and administration across the entire group. This means that as an IT specialist, you will have the opportunity to work at part of an international organisation and be exposed to a wide range of technologies. We are currently searching for:
IT ADMINISTRATOR – SENIOR (BRNO) (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
As a senior IT Administrator you will be monitoring and maintaining Windows and Linux servers in day to day operations. In his job you will analyse, prepare and proceed with remote site integrations or onsite HW replacements. You will provide continual performance improvements regarding servers and systems. You will also working with incident management, escalating the problems, and solving tickets according to SLA’s and team goals.
You will conduct infrastructure monitoring and support of remote sites to solve issues with IT infrastructure, application infrastructure and related services in accordance with contractually established terms and conditions and established technical standards for specific subsidiary. You will have constant interaction with the IT development team from the customer side to provide any additional support required on technology solutions. We require:
• High School education as a minimum
• At least 3 years experience in the IT field
• Advanced IT knowledge (Window 7+, Windows 2008+, SQL DBs, MySQL DBs)
• Network infrastructure knowledge (routers, switches etc.) is an advantage
• Programming web pages (PHP, ASP .NET) is an advantage also
• Working knowledge of administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DHCP, DNS
• Good verbal/written communication, team player, ability to handle stress
• Good level of English
• Knowledge of MS Visual Basic, SharePoint, VEEAM, MS Dynamics, ownCloud and iOS is an asset
