European Planning Manager

KEY ROLES: • European Planning Manager creates and executes the demand plan to support sales and service goals within the Supply Chain. • Day to day responsibilities include the following: manage and lead the production planning and the demand planning teams, coordinate customer service, implement new products introduction and works closely with managers of production, sourcing, logistics, finance, HR, sales and chemical departments. • Run weekly and monthly reports to review metrics including backorder level, obsolescence, stock level of critical products and service level to affiliates. • Review, analyze, and identify possible recommendations for slow moving product and leads overall Europe planning rationalization. • Prepare, report, and communicate monthly metrics to measure forecast and delivery accuracy. • Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on latest demand, seasonality and market trends. • Pro-actively work with the affiliates to review forecast, promotions and implications to the supply planning process. • Work closely with European Supply Chain Development Manager and IT in order to implement advanced planning tools.

WE REQUEST:

• Ideal candidate would have 5+ years specific experience in roles of increasing responsibility related to Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent Czech and English are required, additional European languages (German, French) are preferred.
• Familiar with modern ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Top management presence – comfortable presenting to and negotiating with senior management in English.
• University education preferred.
• The successful candidate will be a team player with a profit-oriented approach comfortable in a high-speed working environment.
• He or she will be highly organized, analytical and detail oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet or exceed deadlines.
