Our client is an established IT development firm that specialises in developing software for chromatography systems and chemical analysers for scientific application across the globe. The development team works with new modern technologies and the software is at the cutting-edge of this sector. Developers are given the opportunity to work on parts of the system which are interesting and stimulating for them, and can be involved in software architecture on particular projects. For their collective we currently seek the following role:
TESTER WITH AUTOMATION – CHEMICAL ANALYSER SOFTWARE (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
We are looking for software testers with experience in automated testing to test Chromatography software. This software is used in top scientific applications around the world, so you will have the chance to contribute to a really interesting area!
You will be proposing, administrating and executing test cases. Key here is that you will be developing automated testing mainly using C# as a scripting language. The client uses Ranorex, TestComplete and an internal system for testing so a background with these technologies will help, but is not required. You will also have the opportunity to use build automation technology such as Apache Ant, Maven and TeamCity. Work within a great collective of testers and developers, and there are possibilities for development roles in the future!
We require:
• Strong knowledge and a experience with scripting languages (Java, C#, JavaScript)
• You need to have a background with automated testing (at least 1 year of experience here)
• Minimum High School Education from a technical background, University is preferred
• Communicative English language as a minimum
• Detail orientation and independent
• Integrity, Team player and development drive
