Main Responsibilities:
• General accounting – Travel US GAAP on local GAAP
• Account reconciliations & balance sheet control
• Accounts payable / receivable, cash management activities
• All taxes calculation and submissions
• Management of the team
• Cooperation with other accounting/processing and reconciliation teams
• Responsible for the preparation, submission, and/or issuance of various financial data, including local financial statements (where applicable), finance related reporting to local regulators, and reporting that is required to support group consolidation and group financial statements
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Local Accounting practices
• Deep understanding of US GAAP Accounting principles
• 5 years in a finance leadership role
• Ability to work within a team in a matrixed organization
• Travel industry experience preferred
• General computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel / Word)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex business issues
