Test Lead is responsible for managing and guiding a team of QA Engineers, coordination of selected testing and QA activities. This role is involved in planning testing activities, status reporting, monitoring risks and last but not least on development and improvement test management process for assigned areas.
This role combines both technical and managerial positions and is designed to take overall responsibility for functional tests, regression tests, localizations and selected areas of test management (test coverage, test monitoring, and test management process improvement), release management, coordination of non-functional tests, and Internal processes and process improvements.

You will be responsible for:

Planning testing activities in accordance with defined priorities and QA standards. Coordinating selected testing and QA activities
Participating in application analysis, test strategy development and quality standards
Participating in functional verification of application software. Performing manual and exploratory testing as needed
Driving processes of Performance Testing, Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning; responsible for ensuring the system architecture is built to handle the performance and response times goals
Assisting in testing systems and subsystems by defining test cases and plans, developing procedures, operating and monitoring tests, and tracking results to enhance performance
Developing effective relationships within and among departments and other teams' members.
Participating on employees evaluation, provide regular feedback on both QA engineers and developers as well as quality of deliverables
Supervising and mentoring junior staff members in technical designs and testing techniques

Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
5+ years in software testing or development
Communicative level of English
Understanding of the SDLC and QA methodology, including testing techniques and test design techniques
Experience with designing, building and maintaining test environments, test data and automated test suites
Experience in working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries, networking and virtualization
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN)
Good understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies
Understanding scalability and architecture constraints
Proficient in test driven development with good knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies
Previous experience working in a Scrum agile software development environment is strongly preferred
Ability to mentor junior QA Engineers, monitor their progress and give technical advice
Ability to review results, from functional and code quality perspective
Ability to evaluate performance, give structured feedback and define and evaluate goals for individuals and the team
Team orientation, Interpersonal skills and Communication, Ability to persuade
Be able to leading the team
Willingness to travel most of a work time
Certifications: ISTQB® Certified Tester is an advantage
