My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries. The company is a great firm to work for due to its international environment and possibilities for personal and professional growth. For this company we are currently looking for range of IT specialists. Could you be the right person for the following role;
IT INFRASTRUCTURE EXPERT (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
We are looking for technical expert/architect in the hosting technologies including infrastructure platforms, Cloud Services, middleware and back-up. This person has to be able to review, design, consolidate and innovate hosting requirements, design and propose new solutions that will be implemented across global IT infrastructure.
You will need to initiate and influence relationships with key stakeholders within the company group and act as a single point of contact for them. Initiate procedures among the stakeholders to improve relationships, communication and to help advance the platform design.
The key issue here is to provide technical expertise on hosting platforms; understand the project needs of the stakeholders, design, present and fight for your solutions, providing guidance and consultation during the execution.
We require:
• University education from a IT / technical background is an advantage for this role
• Experienced system specialist with significant experience in operating systems, hardware, storage, databases and cloud solutions.
• Ideally an Operations Manager / Architect in Infrastructure with experience with hosting platforms; Cloud Services, middleware and back-up
• Knowledge in IT project management and its methodologies (i.e. PRINCE2, PMI)
• Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and culture
• Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural multi-functional environment where consensus is critical for success
• Fluent English language
